The synthetic drug 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) has an effect on mood and perception (awareness of surrounding objects and conditions). People who purchase Molly powder or capsules, on the other hand, usually end up with synthetic cathinone (“bath salts”) instead.
